To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Skills how many applicants applied to (a) Oxford, (b) Cambridge and (c) another Russell Group University, broken down by secondary school in 2005-06. (118914)

[holding answer 5 February 2007]: The available information is shown in the table. The figures relate to applicants to full-time undergraduate courses from the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). My Department does not hold information on the secondary school attended by these applicants.
