Communities and Local Government has made no estimate of the likely income to local authorities from section 106 agreements as a result of obtaining an (a) small, (b) large and (c) regional casino licence and subsequently allowing a casino development, and has no plans to do so in the future. Section 106 agreements are negotiated between local authorities and developers to make acceptable development which would otherwise be unacceptable in planning terms.
