Belfast Festival

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what funding his Department has made available to the Belfast Festival at Queen's in each year since 1997; and what steps he is taking to increase the funding made available by his Department to the Festival. (125042)

On 16 February 2007, I announced a one-off, exceptional grant of £150,000 from the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure towards costs for the 2007 Festival.
