To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many (a) Iraqi, (b) Afghan and (c) Somali nationals have been waiting for determination of their application for indefinite leave to remain in the UK for more than (i) six, (ii) 12 and (iii) 24 months; and if he will make a statement. On the whole these are cases which are not straightforward and require additional consideration.
