United Nations Security Council Resolutions 1333 (2000) and 1390 (2002) and subsequent renewing UN Resolutions, most recently Security Council Resolution 1617 (2005), are directed against Osama bin Laden, al-Qaeda and those terrorists and terrorist organisations associated with them. The Resolution imposes restrictive measures, including a travel ban, against those individuals and entities listed by the UN Committee established by UN Resolution 1267(1999).
