To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many police community support officers he expects to be employed in each police district command unit area following their introduction in Northern Ireland. (129513)

The deployment of PCSOs across police district command units is an operational matter for the chief constable. I am advised by the chief constable that a number of options for the deployment of PCSOs are currently being discussed but no decision on this has yet been taken.
