To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Skills how many pupils achieved (a) at least five GCSE grades A* to C and (b) GCSE grades A* to C including English and mathematics in (i) Jarrow constituency, (ii) south Tyneside, (iii) the north-east and (iv) England in each year since 1997.
