To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government what projects will be affected by the suspension by the European Commission of payments under the European Regional Development Fund to (a) London, (b) the North West, (c) the North East, (d) the West Midlands, (e) Humberside, Yorkshire and (f) the East of England. [holding answer 8 May 2007]: No projects should be affected by the EC decision to postpone reimbursement of expenditure on the ERDF 2000-06 programmes because the Government will continue to honour commitments to projects and they will continue to be paid where they make claims for eligible expenditure.
