City Academies: Special Educational Needs

To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Skills how many and what proportion of pupils in each academy school have special educational needs; and what proportion of pupils take free school meals. (141034)

The number and proportion of pupils with special educational needs (with and without a statement), and the number and proportion of pupils known to be entitled to free school meals in each of the 46 academies open in January 2007 is included in the following chart (sourced from School Census provisional data for January 2007).
