To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Skills pursuant to the answer of 19 March 2007, Official Report, column 692W, on GCSEs, (1) what proportion of 15-year-olds attending (a) independent mainstream schools and (b) maintained mainstream schools achieved five or more GCSEs at A*-C including English and mathematics in each year since 1997 (i) in total and (ii) as a proportion of pupils entered for a full GCSE in both English and mathematics in each year since 1997; (130267)

(2) when he expects to answer question 130267, on GCSEs, tabled by the hon. member for Bognor Regis and Littlehampton on 22 March 2007;

(3) when he will answer question 130267, on the educational attainment of 15-year-olds, tabled by the hon. Member for Bognor Regis and Littlehampton on 22 March 2007.
