To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what recent discussions he has had with the Chancellor of the Exchequer on the operation of the Barnett formula as it affects Northern Ireland. (142518)

In the run-up to devolution I had a number of discussions with the Chancellor about the funding of programmes which, since 8 May, have become the responsibility of the Northern Ireland Executive.
