To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer pursuant to the answer of 26 January 2007, Official Report, column 2134W, on the Valuation Office Agency, what the purpose was of the visits to (a) America, (b) Malaysia, (c) Japan, (d) Thailand, (e) Spain, (f) France, (g) China and (h) Belgium. (142403)

All overseas travel by the Valuation Office Agency (VOA) is undertaken in accordance with the Civil Service code. Overseas travel is typically undertaken in order to share international expertise in the field of property valuation. Detailed information on each visit is not held centrally and could be provided only at disproportionate cost.
