Immigrants: Health

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what systems his Department has put in place for monitoring the response made in immigration decisions to the advice of medical inspectors. (142056)

As part of the implementation of the Port Health Review recommendations, a survey was conducted at Heathrow and Gatwick at the end of last year to determine the part the medical inspector’s advice plays in making immigration decisions. The results of the survey are still being considered.
