To ask the Secretary of State for Health what the plans are for the Food Standards Agency’s review of its handling of the GM rice (LL601) contamination incident following the judicial review of the Food Standards Agency by Friends of the Earth; when the review will take place; whether the input of external stakeholders will be sought; and who will lead the review. The Food Standards Agency will be carrying out a review of its handling of the genetically modified rice contamination incident. It will seek input from key external stakeholders. Details of the review are currently being finalised.
