To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many investigations the Home Office Work Permits Section carried out into complaints of work permits abuse in the IT, communications and electronics sector in (a) 2004, (b) 2005 and (c) 2006; and how many resulted in a penalty or sanction against (i) the employing organisation and (ii) the work permit holder in each year.
