Extradition: Russia

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many requests for extradition have been received from the Russian Federation in each of the last 10 years; and how many have been granted. (152463)

[holding answer 24 July 2007]: There were no extradition arrangements between the United Kingdom and the Russian Federation until 2001.

The number of requests received from the Russian Federation in each year since then is as follows.
