To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what assessment he has made of the National Convention and constitution drafting process in Burma. (155717)

We have repeatedly called on the regime to make progress towards genuine national reconciliation by involving all political and ethnic groups in the National Convention process. Many of these groups did not participate in the National Convention and have not been consulted on the constitutional drafting process. We therefore believe the process lacks all credibility.
