Health Services: Autism

To ask the Secretary of State for Health (1) what assessment he has made of the ability of the service plans of local commissioners to meet the needs of people with autism in (a) Portsmouth and (b) Hampshire; and if he will make a statement; (158553)

(2) what plans he has to ensure that local commissioners (a) demonstrate their plans to provide services to people with autism and (b) implement those plans with adequate resources in (i) Portsmouth and (ii) Hampshire; and if he will make a statement.

The provision of services for people with autism is a matter for the local national health service.
