To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions if he will place in the Library a copy of the most recent research from the Health and Safety Executive, the Health and Safety Commission and the Health and Safety Laboratory on manual handling in kerbside collection and sorting of recyclables. The final and revised research report produced by the Health and Safety Laboratory, ‘Manual handling in kerbside collection and sorting of recyclables’ was published in May 2006 and is available to the public via the Health and Safety Executive’s website. A copy has been forwarded to the House of Commons Library following this inquiry.
