Police: Early Retirement

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many (a) police officers and (b) police community support officers retired on grounds of ill health in each year since 1997. (162843)

The available data are published by Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and are given in the following table.
