Missing People: Finance

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what funding her Department provided to the charity Missing People in 2006-07; how much has been provided for 2007-08; and what the allocation will be in 2008-09. (167128)

In 2006-07, the Home Office provided funding of £600,000 to Missing People with an additional £300,000 one-off payment. In 2007-08, £600,000 has again been provided from the Home Office to the charity. The baseline budget proposed for funds to Missing People from the Home Office in 2008-09 is £600,000, but this allocation is subject to final decision by Ministers.
