Volume 468: debated on Thursday 29 November 2007

To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform what percentage of the UK's electricity is supplied from sources using microgeneration technologies; and if he will make a statement. (167003)

We estimate that there are approximately 100,000 microgeneration installations in the United Kingdom. However specific figures for the amount of electricity generated by microgeneration are not available.
