Flood Sirens: Norfolk

22. To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs if he will make a statement on the future provision of flood sirens in Norfolk. (171752)

The Environment Agency provides flood warnings to the public by local radio and directly to individuals by telephone, mobile phone, text messages, emails, pagers and faxes through its Floodline Warnings Direct service. The Agency considers these communication methods more effective than sirens.
