Actions the Home Office will take to adapt to the effects of climate change will be in accordance with the requirements set out in the Government's Climate Change Bill. This will augment a similar assessment carried out for the Home Office in 2003 and will follow any cross-Government adaptation policy framework that sets out Government's overall intentions in relation to adapting to the effects of climate change. It is envisaged that regular adaptation assessments will be made in the mid to long-term.
