To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions what discussions he has had with the Leader of the House on the (a) ministerial role of and (b) support for the hon. Member for Stevenage. (170004)

[holding answer 3 December 2007]: I have had no discussions with the Leader of the House on this subject. However, there have been various discussions at official level about the provision of administrative and logistical support from my Department to the Government Equalities Office, including ministerial support.
