Dyfed Powys Police: Resignations

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what advice was (a) sought from and (b) given by her Department in the case of the Dyfed-Powys police authority and the resignation of the chief constable of Dyfed-Powys police, Mr. Terence Grange. (170143)

[holding answer 3 December 2007]: No advice was sought or given by the Home Office, but the position of the chief constable of Dyfed Powys was discussed as part of regular contact between the police authority and Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary.
