To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what the latest forecasted cost is of the delivery of the ASPIRE IT support project. (169318)

[holding answer 4 December 2007]:The current projected cost, before inflation, of the ASPIRE IT Services contract, which now runs until 2017, is £7.7 billion, £800 million less than the projected cost disclosed at PAC last year.
