To ask the Secretary of State for Justice if he will place in the Library a copy of the minutes of the recent meeting between his Department’s officials and the Association of Electoral Administrators at which holding a general election in the autumn was discussed. (176763)

My officials hold regular meetings on an ongoing basis with the Association of Electoral Administrators at which a range of electoral issues are discussed. Such a meeting, which was pre-planned, took place in September. Issues surrounding the administration of elections were discussed at the meeting along with a variety of other issues. These meetings are informal in nature and minutes are not taken.
