To ask the Secretary of State for Justice how many prisoners absconded from each (a) prison and (b) young offender institution in London in each of the last 10 years; and if he will make a statement. (175359)

The number of incidents of prisoners absconding from prisons in the London area in each of the last 10 years is shown in the following table. This information is also available for all prisons at the Prison Service website
