To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport whether his Department is working towards an accredited certified environmental management system such as ISO 14001 or EMAS (a) for its whole estate and (b) in some of its buildings. (176927)

The Department’s environmental management system was accredited to ISO 14001 in June 2007. The EMS covers the Department’s offices at Cockspur Street and Tottenham Court Road.

The Department’s executive agency the Royal Parks, has an environmental management system accredited to ISO 14001 for all its estate.
