To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform what recent research his Department has (a) commissioned, (b) undertaken and (c) evaluated on the effects of changing to daylight saving time in the UK. (175580)

There are no plans to change the current summer time arrangements or to undertake additional research as the Government are not convinced that a change would be in the best interests of the UK.
