To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many Freedom of Information requests his Department has received since the Freedom of Information Act 2000 came into force; and in how many instances his Department took more than (a) six, (b) 12, (c) 18 and (d) 24 months to provide a substantive response; (175530)

The data published comply with the agreed reporting requirements for central Government Departments and show that the Treasury responded to 94 per cent. of requests within the statutory deadline. The additional information sought could be provided only at disproportionate cost.
