Schools: Newcastle Upon Tyne

To ask the Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families how many children aged 11 to 16 years there were in local education authority maintained schools in the city of Newcastle upon Tyne in each year since 1997. (180891)

The requested information is given in the table and relates to the number of pupils aged 11 to 15 at the start of the academic year (some pupils will turn 16 throughout the year).
