This is an operational decision for the Valuation Office Agency, who should continue to gather, in the most cost-effective way, the data it requires to perform its statutory functions.

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether the data that the Valuation Office Agency collects from Rightmove.co.uk using the market comparable reporting tool include data derived from the Rightmove automated valuation model database. (183268)

The Valuation Office Agency only has access to the information which was freely available to the public while a property was being advertised for sale on the Rightmove web site.
