West Midlands Police Authority: Finance

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how much West Midlands Police Authority has received from central funds in each of the last 10 years; how much its precept has been set at for 2008-09; and at what rate the precept will be levied upon local householders. (186784)

As can be seen from the following table, the central funding of the West Midlands police authority has increased from £317.34 million in 1997-98 to £487.88 million in 2007-08.
