Inspectorate Review of Government Information Assurance

Volume 472: debated on Wednesday 20 February 2008

To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster if he will place in the Library (a) the full version of the report by Nick Coleman, Inspectorate Review of Government Information Assurance, and (b) the summary paper of the report. (180994)

Nick Coleman was asked to work on information assurance activity across government to help inform the National Information Assurance Strategy and its implementation. A discussion document was published in June 2007 alongside the national strategy. Since then he has continued his work and the final report has not yet been completed. The current cross-government review on data handling is drawing on his expertise and work to date.
