The UK Government support health-related technical assistance in several developing countries. DFID also supports a variety of organisations, including UN agencies, such as the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS), World Health Organisation (WHO) and Stop TB and Roll Back Malaria, which help countries to develop proposals for grants to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.

Through the International Health Partnership, the UK is also working with the Global Fund and others to minimise the administrative burden on countries of funding from external donors.
