To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs what discussions he has had with the Department of Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform on ensuring greater competition in the dairy industry whilst protecting farm incomes. (188562)

We have had no such discussions. We consider that individual dairy producers are in the best position to be able to maximise their income by making individual business decisions.
