Local Authorities: South West

To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government which major local authorities will exist in the South West region after the current restructuring is completed. (188319)

Following the earlier parliamentary approval of the Structural Change Orders, which were laid before both Houses of Parliament on 8 January; the following principal local authorities will exist in the South West Region on l April 2009:
