DEFRA has had no such correspondence with the Marine and Fisheries Agency. Arrangements for the provision of aerial and surface surveillance coverage are an operational matter for the Marine and Fisheries Agency to decide upon, in order to ensure the effective tasking and deployment of patrol vessels and surveillance aircraft.
