To ask the Secretary of State for Innovation, Universities and Skills which agencies under his Department’s responsibility use the (a) 0845 and (b) 0870 telephone codes for customer enquiries; how many 0845 and 0870 telephone codes each agency uses; and how much revenue was generated for each of these codes by each agency in each of the last five years. The Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills (DIUS) was created by the Prime Minister on 28 June 2007.

A number of “08” telephones services are administered by the Department for public use.
