Council Tax: Pensioners

To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government which local authorities have introduced local council tax discounts for pensioners. (194025)

As at 8 October 2007, four authorities—Bury metropolitan borough council, Kirklees council, the London borough of Hillingdon and the metropolitan borough council of Wirral—reported that they had introduced schemes to grant local council tax discounts for pensioners.
