Ipsos MORI

Volume 474: debated on Wednesday 2 April 2008

To ask the Secretary of State for Innovation, Universities and Skills what payments his Department has made to Ipsos MORI in the last 24 months; and for what purposes. (194314)

The Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills (DIUS) was created as a result of machinery of government changes in June 2007. DIUS operates a devolved procurement structure for consultancy contracts. As such there is no central register of contracts let. Information on this type of expenditure is not held separately for DIUS for prior years, therefore this information could be obtained only at disproportionate cost. However, year to date, the Department has spent £2,734,621 on consultancy.
