Junior Doctors: Labour Turnover

To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many junior doctors left the NHS in each of the last five years for which figures are available; what estimate he has made of the number likely to leave the NHS in 2008; and if he will make a statement. (196161)

We do not collect the number of junior doctors who have left the national health service. We do collect the number in post, which is shown in the following table.
