To ask the Secretary of State for Health what estimate he has made of the number of new diagnoses of ankylosing spondylitis in England in each year. (198693)

The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence have estimated that there are around 2,300 new cases of ankylosing spondylitis each year in England and Wales.
