Public service agreements (PSAs) are agreed between Departments and HM Treasury as part of each spending review. Details of the most recent PSAs, agreed as part of comprehensive spending review 2007, were published in the CSR White Paper on 9 October 2007, copies of which are available in the House Library. As part of the CSR process the number of PSAs across Government was reduced from over a hundred to thirty. No PSAs have been discontinued following the 7 November 2007 speech by my right hon. Friend the Member for Stalybridge and Hyde (James Purnell).
