To ask the Secretary of State for Transport pursuant to the answer of 7 February 2008, Official Report, columns 1414-16W, on departmental public relations, which (a) lead public relations company and (b) other public relations companies worked on each campaign by her Department and its agencies in each of the last five years; and what the cost of each campaign was. Total costs incurred since 2002-03 on external public relations agencies and promotions are approximately £3,158,000. Breaking down these costs by each individual campaign over the past five years could be done only at disproportionate cost.

With apologies to the hon. Member, I would like to provide additional figures to my answer of 7 February 2008, Official Report, columns 1414-16W. Figures provided then did not include expenditure on PR support that DVLA commissioned through the Central Office of Information. Total expenditure for DVLA in each fiscal year since 2003-04 is as follows:
