Languages: GCE A-Level

To ask the Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families what proportion of those taking an A-level in a modern language were pupils in state-funded schools in each year since 1997; and if he will make a statement. (201203)

The percentage of GCE A-level modern foreign language entries that were taken by pupils in maintained schools and colleges in each year since 1997 is given as follows:
