To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department pursuant to the answer of 3 April 2008, Official Report, column 1320W, on police stations, how many (a) police kiosks, (b) mobile police stations, (c) police shops in high streets and (d) other public access methods are operated by the police in England and Wales, broken down by police authority. The management of the police estate and allocation of resources are matters for each police authority and the Chief Officer, who are responsible for assessing local needs.
