To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport pursuant to the answer of 22 February 2008, Official Report, column 1049W, on departmental ICT, how many missing or stolen (a) laptops and (b) personal digital assistants have been replaced by his Department; and at what cost. (202477)

All of the PDAs lost or stolen since 2001 have been replaced. The value of each is not recorded but as a guide the current price of a PDA is 159. All of the laptops were replaced by re-allocating existing equipment.
